Principles of knowledge management

The BISp believes that (high-performance) sport science must not be an end in itself, but must always involve the transfer of scientific findings into practice. That is why one of the key goals of the BISp is knowledge management for various target groups for the efficient, targeted delivery of information to their heterogeneous groups. The BISp’s knowledge transfer activities are based on seven assumptions about knowledge transfer and can be assigned to the procedural steps of modern knowledge management:

The BISp attaches importance to designing many transfer activities together with its partners in the Scientific Network for High-Performance Sport (WVL). That is why the BISp is an important linchpin when it comes to shaping knowledge management within the WVL.
